who is lev alburt ?

Alburt is a 3-time US Champion.
I believe that Albert came to the US from Russia and so must have played Sveshnikov in Russia. Sveshnikov is very famous for his chess opening theory and is playing right now in Aeroflot tournament in Russia.
Albert also has some great books on chess and the Russian method of teaching chess.
GM Alburt and GM Palatnik wrote the Comprehnsive Chess Couser Series in the late 1990’s…revealing the secret Soviet training methods to the world…
