This has been a very exciting and well run event. The sponsors and organizers should be proud for putting together a world class tournament. It is too bad that events like this can’t happen in the United States.
Congratulations to Ponomariov and Vallejo.
Dear Ms. Polgar,
I sincerely hope this finds you well. I wonder if you’d be good enough to clarify something for me. You said, that it’s too bad tournaments like this can’t happen in the U.S. What I wonder is why can’t as opposed to don’t? Thank you kindly for your anticipated patience, tolerance, understanding, consideration and assistance. Take very good care and have yourself a most joyous day, every day.

Maybe America finally has a Super GM in the making since the days of Bobby Fischer. I think Nakamura had a wonderful tournament with a .5 point behind the much older and more seasoned winners at this event. What do you think Susan?
