  black best reply is f6.
  4.Bxf6 Re7 prevent mate on g7.
  5.Qh8+/Qg6+ Kf7/Kf8
  6.Qg7+/Qh6+ Ke8 escape.

  White should play Bxh6+ after 1.Rg7Kg7.All black king’s moves will lead to mate at most in 6.

  BTW I don’t think Anon’s 1:57:00 AM line works ’cause after

  5.Qxf6+ (5. Bh6+ kd7 and black is able to escape) Kg8 and white has tp make perpetual with 6.Qg6+ since 6.Bh6 then Re7 and black is winning.

  6.Qg7 Ke8
  and black king escapes.
