Actually it was mentionned on the USCF Online Site – it has a picture of Elliot Liu – scroll down a bit and look for the Ecuador tournament reference. The event wrapped up earlier in the month. Here is clip from the web page…Much as there are things wrong with the USCF – they did get this one right.

We got seven medals in Cuenca,Ecuador including two golds and a 9-0 sweep by Tatev Abrahamyan. Elliott Liu, winner of the U18 Gold Medal is happy to be home, and not just to show off his medal.
