Chess Daily News from Susan Polgar
I watched a couple of games on MonRoi web site. very nice.
Jessica Wamala played very well. she did a nice job. I know her father Severine is proud of her. I know she is improving fast. I hope I get the opportunity to watch some more of her games.
I did a google search and she has a beautiful little biography on the internet. http://www.thechessdrum.net/newsbriefs/2005/NB_JeWamala.html
it would be nice to see all the girls get the same thing. how wonderful.
I also watched the Marshall Courtney game. nice game. Marshall played for the draw at the end. a good move considering it guaranteed her the title.
Congratulations to everyone on a job well done. I hope everyone had a good time.
Susan you are doing such a great job for the kids. I hope you are successful for the sake of all the kids at the USCF meeting.
good luck
On the USCF site it shows a picture of Paul laughing at Bill Goichberg’s “stolen rook” story. They do not share this story though. Will you share it please?
Way to go Abby! You should go for a three-peat next year and become the Michael Jordan of the Polgar Invitational. Of course, you are probably aiming to play in the Denker now that you are starting high school.
Congratulations and good luck!
Felicitations to Abby. I was rooting for our local CA representative Louiza Livschitz but still a good result in such a tough field. THanx Susan for making these tournaments possible.
