Here’s to Kramnik vs. the Machine: you go boy! Hopefully, he can stave off the tidal wave of Computer superiority in chess for a few more years. Viva! La human brain!
Kramnik plays the type of chess that may actually put a dent in the computer. He’s playing decent chess right now too.
Sorry I bet Kramnik loses easy- but Deep Fritz 9 has to be running on a quad core or better
That terminator hand on the poster is hilarious.
I am rooting for Kramnik but the Terminator is getting to strong for humans to compete against.
I would like to play multiprocessor hydra instead(for a decent sum of money ,of course).
My judgement (I could be wrong though):it’s stronger than D.Fritz.
The engine defeated mercelessly Adams.
OTOH,Mickey played poorly in two games ;where he had to hold for a draw ,he pushed for a win against the machine.
Very bad strategy, and very bad result accordingly.
Humans must play differently vs. machine than vs. other humans.
The lesson than Mickey learned in a hard (and humiliating) way.
I hope Vlad will proove that flesh is still capable to cope silicon!
