The most notable name missing on this list is Nadezhda Kosintseva. Since Judit will not participate, I hope she will have either that spot of a presidential nomination. The #5 woman player should not be excluded from the Women’s World Championship.

2010 Women’s World Championship Poll
Susan, nice game by lil sista vs naka! LOL, I can see she can whoop vishy for the World Championship that was a silly ?
I don’t see Irina Krush on the list! Since she’s not there (a mistake) and not on the America’s list, she can’t be a choice to win. Who made the mistake in the list?
Hi Susan,
Why isn’t Judit the no 1 woman player?
She seems to be easily the highest graded in the FIDE list.
Joe, from yorkshire, england
Thanks for your enjoyable blog
Joe,
Judit is by far the #1 player. However, she has no interest in playing in women’s only event.
Anon 10:19,
Irina should be on the list. She won the 2010 US Women’s Championship. If the USCF made a mistake then they should fix it. Her rating is also 2490. She would be one of the contenders for the crown.
Best wishes,
Susan Polgar
Wow Susan lil sista deliverin a lil Rough Justice! hehe , i better keep middlegame novelties a SECRET like the top guys doin, lil sista been done ran through all fides high rated clowns!!! ROFL.
Unfortunately Irina didn’t do well enough in the World Championship qualifier (The 2009 US Womens Ch.)
No spot was promised to the top finishers of the 2010 Championship. So Zatonskih and Baginskaite will represent the USA. But honestly Krush deserves to be there and maybe somehow she’ll be a late entry.
Hello Susan
I am a long-time fan of your excellent blog, and I voted for Irina Krush….and I wish I had a chance to vote for an Interesting prospect named Deysi Cori out of the country of Peru, why….because I just got done playing through her game in round 6 with White against Anastasia Travkina who was playing Black. Deysi won this game with an amazing Queen sacrifice on move 26 with exf6. I hope you can get her & her brother GM Jorge Cori to come to next years SPICE chess tournament!!!!
Here is the link to the game that she played:
http://wycc2010.chessdom.com/live-games-open-and-girls-u18/
It is game 7 on the playable selection of games on the wycc2010 website. I hope everybody gets a chance to play through the games.
Thank you Susan!!!!
Why is Irina Krush not on there?
why is Judit not on the voting list?
