Where: 45401 Research Avenue, Suite 141, Fremont, CA 94539.

Near Weibel, MSJE, Warm Springs & Leech Elementary. Also conveniently located near Marina Square, Starbucks, Walmart and shopping area.

Directions:

a) from North – 880 south, exit on Mission/Warren Blvd. Turn left towards Mission Blvd. then turn left on Warm Springs Blvd. Then make a right onReliance Way. The building is on your left before you reach the very end orResearch Ave.
b) from South, take 880 North then exit on Mission Blvd. then follow Mission Blvd. turn left on Warm Springs Blvd. then make a right on Reliance Way. The bldg. is on your left before you reach the very end or Research Ave.
c) from 680, take the Mission Blvd. exit then head West towards Mission Blvd.then turn left on Warm Springs Blvd. Then turn right on Reliance Way. The bldg. is on your left before you reach the very end or Research Ave.

When: October 29, 2010 Friday, 7:00-10:30 pm.

Who: Beginners, Intermediate, Advance players and Masters for all ages!

– Trick or Treat: Wear your Halloween Costume to get some treats. Whoever wears the best chess-themed costume, will win a prize.
– Casual/Rated games will also be offered for advance players.
– We will be announcing the new name of the chess club. Prizes will be awarded to the winner and runners-up.
– Newark Chess Club has been around for 4 years now and has produced several State Champions, National Champions, Gold Medalists, and World Youth Qualifiers!!!
– Be a member of this elite club to become one!
– Weekly rated games for Adult/Advance players (rated 1400-2400). IM/GM lectures, book-launchings, simuls, etc.
– Announcement of future weekly activities, blitz/bughouse night, monthly adult/scholastic tournaments, group classes, chess camps for chess champs and many more.
