Chess Daily News from Susan Polgar
Seeing what was done to AF4C and the latest US Championships, why would anyone other than Berry want to bid for it?
I like to see CCA bid for it.
I think we may have seen the last us championship under the USCF. Barry would do better to join his money into a new organization after the collapse of the USCF. I believe AF4C will join a new organization.
No reasonable person will support Goichberg any more. Eric Moskow will have nothing to do with him either. Although Moskow is not steady in his support. I would skip over Moskow until he settles down better.
CCA will never support anything. CCA is all about milking USCF for its financial gain. You have the money flowing in the wrong direction. CCA absorbs money it never gives anything back to chess. Well maybe some minor money just to look good. But it never really steps up to the plate with real strong support.
I would not be surprised if CCA loses all its money at the race track. Goichberg is an addicted gambler. Gamblers are always broke.
Will Susan Polgar ever play in a US Championship?
Why should she play in any US championship? She came out of retirement to help the US team in 2004 only to have Goichberg destroy it. She makes more in a simul than the players make in 10 days. She must be nuts to accept the invitation.
FKB will do it.
