Bxg8 is not forced. There is also Bg6 and Qg4.
Bg6 and Qg4 don’t help though… Black will just take the bishop or the queen if White decides to move there.
for this particular problem Bg6 doesn’t help. but if white had an extra pawn on h5 then white could give back the bishop with Bg6.

Chess is sometimes like that, whether you like it or not. Just because you think a line is forced doesn’t mean your opponent has to play it if it’s not really forced. In this case, if you analyzed thinking Bxg8 is forced, then it turns out everything is okay as Bg6 instead of Bg8 doesn’t do anything.
