Leinier Dominguez is the new second of Veselin Topalov
Topalov is preparing with Dominguez for the match with Anand
Report by Chessdom.com
Leinier Dominguez Perez is the new second of the top rated FIDE player GM Veselin Topalov, revealed Nolan Cachon, from Radio Rebelde, Cuba. Leinier Dominguez, currently 22nd in the world with 2719, will be part of the team of Veselin Topalov for the upcoming World Championship 2010 match with Viswanathan Anand.
Dominguez has been invited to Topalov’s team due to the strong season he is having and thanks to the solid opening knowledge that the Cuban posesses. Another member of the team of Topalov, as the ChessCube WCC blog correctly suggested, will be GM Ivan Cheparinov, who has been working with the ex World Champion for many years.
Dominguez will now have to do double work, as he is preparing for the World Cup in Khanty Mansiysk.
I think Topalov will crush Anand. Anand hasn’t played well lately.
Ha! Dominguez is #2.
Get it?
What is this guy doing playing for World Championship? He was rousted by Kramnik and has an incredible losing record against Kasparov. If Kramnik did not gift his championship all of this would be impossible fairy tale.
Ask yourself one question:
Could Topalov beat Kasparov in a match = no
Could Anand beat Kasparov in a match = no
Could Kramnik beat Kasparov in a match = yes
So who is the World Champion?
So what we have is the two no-nicks in a coffeehouse match.
Could Kramnik beat Topalov in a match=Yes
Could Kramnik beat Anand in a match=No
And that is why Anand is the World Champion
With Kazimdizhanov(who knocked out Topalov in Libiyan world cup)as his second, Anand will pull Topalov into the black hole of candidate matches
Who is 1st second of Topalov. I don’t think it’s Cheparinov.
Could Topalov beat Kasparov in a match = We dont know!
Could Kramnik beat Shirov in a match = no!
Could Kramnik beat Anand in a match = no!

This guy is World #1. Other questions?
Strange logic you have there.
It’s like you a re saying that defeating Kasparov is the necessary condition which one has to fulfill to become World Champion.
If it is, and since he retired, then there can’t be any new world champion. Thus the world championship is dead.
If Kasparov hadn’t gifted his title to kramnik. There would be no debate at all.
So I guess everybody should play Kasparov and not each other?!
Your logic is way off!
The first and the second in ELO raitings are playing the World Championship, what is your problem?
That’s the logic of this guy:
Kramnik defeated Topalov in 12-game-match so Kramnik is better.
Anand defeated Kramnik in 12-game-match so Kramnik is better.
And I agree with:
‘Could Topalov beat Kasparov in a match = We dont know!
Could Kramnik beat Shirov in a match = no!
Could Kramnik beat Anand in a match = no!’
Anand is the 15th absolute world champion. Ask Kramnik.
I really don’t think that it’s a good idea to talk publicly about your seconds so early.
Yeah but who wanna taste that thing Leko puttin down! hahahaha.Susan this is the time you suppose to look at the Gms and catch them lookin out the window like they dont hear you. hehe.
“I really don’t think that it’s a good idea to talk publicly about your seconds so early.”
I agree.
Sloppy seconds are nothing to brag about.
“Kramnik defeated Topalov in 12-game-match so Kramnik is better.
Anand defeated Kramnik in 12-game-match so Kramnik is better.”
More precisely:
Kramnik tied Topalov in 12-game match and won after rapid tie-breaks.
Anand defeated Kramnik in 12-game match by a 2-point margin with a game to spare.
And how on earth do you guys know that Anand couldn’t defeat Kasparov? Are you psychic or something? All we know that he couldn’t do it in 1995 (although he was holding his own for first 10 games), but do you really think Kramnik could do it 1995???
