I would like to see Nigel Short, Danailov, Rustam and Gata Kamsky in a cage match. Awesome!
Topa! e4!
They ripped the glass idea off the organizers of Fischer Spassky rematch 1992.
Prevent cheating? Haha!!! The new way of cheating is to play against ones lower rated teammate which of course wanta to pay the rent, and conveniently loses etc….. Just let the dainalovs contonue this farce.
The Topalov haters are simply disgusting.
Lies and slanders, day after day…
Totalitaro-fascist behaviour.
I don’t know if it prevents cheating (since it is transparent), but it may be useful if the audience throws vegetables or eggs.
no
The point is that it’s brightly lit inside the glass area, and lit less brightly outside. This makes it so that it’s easy to see in, but hard to see out because of the glare. That’s good both to prevent cheating, and to reduce distractions.
…and wearing king-size pampers 😀
A glass dome to prevent cheating??
What has chess turned itself into?
This is too sad:(
Was this a real game? Looks fabricated to me……….I smell a rat.
Sorry to offend.
Chess is a boring game. Chess players are boring people. Chess arbiters are the boriest ones of all.
“boriest”
I don’t think that is a real word.
Try again deary!
“Try again deary!”
Chess arbiters are boresome.
Ah, much better!
