Proctology for the Jolly Green Giant.
Apple computers!
I love these ads.
They demonstrate the difference between Microsoft and Apple: Microsoft is stolid, old-fashioned, not generally unamiable, but clearly not hip. Apple on the other hand is hip. Also flexible, en vogue, and definitely likable, etc.
Under the hood, both systems are second rate. They must be, because both are addressing the masses. Glitzy on the surface, all show but no substance, because nobody would see it anyway.
When it comes to chess, M$ beats Apple easily. No real chess related software for Macs. No Playchess client, no Fritz, no Rybka, no blah blah blah.
So I guess the message is: get a Mac to be cool, but at least install Windows too, if you are into chess.
Squirrel Snatcher. A persistent problem in top level chess since a pair got into Steinitz’s pants in St. Petersburg.
hmm, what product, eh?
vertical shuffleboard? bad pants? heck I don’t know!
I agree with rgorn. I installed Windows on my MacBook Pro to run ChessBase, Fritz etc. Not cool but necessary.
I prefer to use the Mac side for everything else.
