Gorgeous!
Kosteniuk wishes she looks 1/2 as good as you. LOL
I like this one much better.
Susan, voulez-vous m’épouser ?
This is a very beautiful and classy picture. It shows that women’s don’t have to strip to look great.
you are beautiful as always!!!!!
Lovely, elegant, classy. As always.

Apparently a woman posting a picture on her blog is an open invitation to be hit on.

You sound like an idiot.
Susan, this is not a hit on you but you’re by far the most beautiful woman player in the world. I’m also very much impressed that you promote your brain and grace rather than your look like some other female players. Congratulations! I’m a big fan!
You are gorgeous Susan!
Very beautiful 😉
A steady fan from Bulgaria 😉
You are so beautiful :o)
If you ever are in California I would love to take you out for dinner.
Classy, Sexy, and Beautiful! Susan if you ever come to Chicago I will take you on a carriage ride by the lakefront and then some fine dining and have then present you with a dozen lilac roses! ; )

I agree that the photo is beautiful, but wouldn’t you prefer something “chessic” in the photo too? Not necessarily you hunched over a board/pieces, but SOMETHING to do with chess behind you or somehow in the photo? Otherwise, this photo just looks like any movie star! (grin)
I dislike the picture background. Make it again.
to be honest – ‘u are a very good looking woman, susan, but the pic ‘u’ve choosen does no justice to you …
1. i do not like the strand of hair over your fascinating eyes!
2. your cute face is presented in front of a brick wall – what the hell made ‘u imprisoned? (^^)
3. ‘u are a heart faced, beautiful woman – why show your face profiled – not a good perspective (- has something of “woman in the moon” -. ‘u know what i mean?)
4. ‘ur smile is overwhelming – ‘u look always good – even in the morning – i suppose … (…)
your Vohaul
PS: but please chose an other blogger pic … (sorry, but i’m condemned to tell the truth, nothing but the truth …)
There is nothing wrong with that pic!! haha

Susan I, like your sister Sophie have an artistic side (4 years of art) lol. Even though yesterday I said you look good in this picture I must be objective. I like your face and your apparel in this photo but, to be analytical I think two things are lacking. I agree with the two other bloggers. 1. The background is not the best. I think the brick is too harsh a backdrop, and I also think you should be around some type of chess setting. 2. Your smile is the window to your soul and is compromised in this photo. I say either reshoot with the same outfit in a chessic setting or use the photo of your 5 DVD set I purchased “Winning Chess The Easy Way”.

Don’t worry, I will rotate the pictures often now that I know how to do it. Blogging is new to me. New ones will come soon 🙂 Thanks for your input!
Best wishes,

A test post got over 20 comments. wow
Some people may wonder why so many responses to a test post. There is an answer:
Susan cares about her chess fans,
and her chess fans care about Susan! 🙂
Susan’s blog is the best! Most updated! Most interesting!
NJ Chess Mom,
Please, enough of this cat-fighting!!!!
Beautiful Susan
This is the official “how to worship Susan Polgar”-blog. You do a great job, guys. 🙂
Different strokes for different folks
I like the picture and thought maybe it was because I asked for a picture of Susan’s new hair color a day or so earlier. I like the lighting and I like the out-of-focus brick wall background and I like the spontaneous-looking profile view, and most of all I like the beautiful smile. A chessboard picture is just too cliche. This picture makes Susan look like someone who would be fun to talk to at a chess tournament or social gathering. The one thing I’d have done differently is use a slightly higher camera angle and maybe add a little bit of diffused fill light.
P.S. Zsuzsa szép nő (Susan is a beautiful woman). I only know a few words of Hungarian but that’s really all I need ;-).
