Shirov is a great player. Kamsky only a good one. Kamsky might as well not turn up. Bye Bye Kamsky.
I already had the impression from the Tal Memorial that Shirov felt he had something to prove and wanted to make up for the Kasparov match he was denied.
Kamsky could be the unknown nemesis of Shirov, so don’t count him out just yet. 🙂
Kamsky is a little more stable in his choices than other players who can play fearless or fearful in the same game.
I am happy that those two are meeting each other. I was hoping for Ivanchuk to win but this is also great. I am rooting a little more for Kamsky. And I will root for the winner of this World Cup in a match with Topalov.
Kamsky will win because he’s more American.
Kamsky is going to kick Shirov’s trash! Go Kamsky!!!!! He’s the future WC!
Shirov beats Kamsky, then he beats Topalov ( unless Topalov becomes Topailov of course )
Kamsky is a very good and very tough player, but Shirov often plays like a genius, so it’s hard to tell who will win.
Nevertheless, if Shirov plays at his best, he will probably win.
shirov will win the WC and then will make the universe forget about mister toilet gate
Shirov! Shirov! Shirov!
This final will be extremely interesting. Two greats players having already reached final of a world championship.
Each will be very motivated.
Just pleasure for the spectators!
i dont see how anyone can write off kamsky just yet. he is in the finals for heavens sake! that wasnt just handed to him on a plate! as much as i would like him to be just a tourist, the guy has the results to show how strong he is this tournament… lets just wait and see…
I am torn on this one. As much as I’d like to see Kamsky win, I can’t help but salivate at a Shirov vs Topalov clash.
