Ben Finegold and Alan Anderson
Chess Lecture and Simul
Ben Finegold leaves Arizona today to go back to Michigan. Before he did that, he gave a lecture and simul, which started promptly at noon. The event was held at Abstrax, one of the sponsors of the camp.
There were 18 participants in the simul including a few Experts and Class A players. Ben scored 17.5 out of 18.
Here is Ben’s game against Josh, a talented junior in the state of Arizona.

Why can’t the USCF do something similar to this? What does the USCF do for chess players?
This organizations seems to do great work for kids. Very nice.
Go Ben!
Big Ben
Ben, we played a few games in the late 80’s and early 90’s, but man, you still eat too much.
