Rxf3 if gxf3 then Bxh2+ and the Queens free.
Rxf3
Jack A. Laffarty
… Rxf3 and Black wins
Rxf3
1… Rxf3
2. gxf3, Bxh2
wins the queen
1…Rxf3, threatening 2…Bxh2+ winning the Queen, wins.
Of course, Rxf3! with the threat of
2. Bxh2+ Kxh2
3. QXQ winning the queen
The theme of the tactic may be called: Removing the defender.
1… Rxf3 wins the knight, as if
2 gxf3 Bxh2 wins the ungarded queen
and if
2 De4 Re7 or anywhere
Rxf3
1…Rxf3 followed by 2…Bxh2+ and 3…Qxd4
…. Rxf3 winning a piece or the queen
Trefor5D
Rf6
Alimuzzaman
RxNf3 and if gxR Bxh2+ KxB QxQ
1)… Rxf3 2) gxf3 Bxh2+ 3)Kxh2 Qxd4-+
If 2) Rxe7 then again Bxh2+ wins
I would try
1. .. Rxf3 2. gxf3 Bxh2+ 3. Kxh2 Qxd4 -+
Rxf3 wins a piece for black as black threatens Bxh2 next.
1. … Rxf3
if 2. gxf3 Bxh2+ White loses Queen.
1. Rxf3! White cannot retake as then Black can check with the bishop before taking the unguarded White queen.
RxKn followed by Bxh2 and QxQ
Swap rook and bishop for knight, pawn and queen.
I’d play Rxf3 without thinking twice.
If white takes on f3, after Bxh2+ it’s game over. Black can’t afterwards take on e7, if he chooses to take on h2, because of Qh4+. If black doesn’t take on f3, but tries Rxe7 immediately, white can just check on h2, grab the Queen and after that the e7-rook is still hanging if white takes on f3.
Rxf3 with threat of Bxh2 winning the queen
RxKf3
Rf3 following Bh2 and then the white queen is hanging …
