That is correct but the white square is not the lower right-hand corner
If we assume the tallest piece is the king, then the white king seems to be *on the left* of the white queen.

The queen is not on d1….it’s mixed up with the king
I was watching an interview with Patrick Stewart, who said that the director Bryan Singer (of X-Men I) became upset and angry that Sir Ian Mckellan and Patrick Stewart both did not know anything about chess (especially since there are chess scenes in the X-Men movies). Singer ended up hiring a Canadian GM to show them how to play. Looks like Sir Ian needs a refresher.
