To me, the right move will be:
1. g3 Q moves
2. Qc5+
Any other ideas?
YBN
sorry i meant 2. Qxb4+
Bxg7 black any move
g3 Qf5
Qxb4
my idea is to first secure all squares aroung the king then bump the queen off the 4th rank and force the queen to its only avialable square. thus the white bishop trade for black queen. ive been drinking the 7% variety of drink if you know what i mean so im not sure if im all there right now.
wolverine.
Bxg7 black any move
g3 Qf5
Qxb4+ Qc5
Qxc5++
actually there no bishop for queen trade. these drinks are getting to me.white just has a clear win.
wolverine
g3
1. Bxg7 loses to
…Rd8d1
2. Qxd1 Nf2+
Forking the king and the queen.
I noticed that Qxb4 looked pretty strong provided, of course, that we could take that pawn safely.
My first instinct was to place something on d4 to cut the bQ’s line. Unfortunately, it always seemed that Black could simply respond with a5, guarding b4, and our next idea wasn’t so clear.
My next try was 1. Bc1, which seemed plausible, as the bQ can’t remain on the fourth rank. However, this allows the bK to run to f6 after Qxb4, and ideas based on Nf2+ and various forks made this less-than-clear (though, looking at the position again, I’m no longer convinced that Nf2+ is a problem).
Becoming frustrated, I next considered 1. Qh4+, but I couldn’t even refute 1. … f6.
Finally, I considered 1. g3!, as others have, and decided that it looks pretty strong. It disturbs the bQ, allowing us to take on b4 next move, while keeping f6 guarded and definitely keeping 1. … Nf2+ useless.
The pattern which comes fast to mind is the very dangerously placed black’s queen: f5 is the only square availabe. I directly look for a “queen mate”:
1.g3 Qf5
2.Be4?? Qxe4!
3.Qxe4 Nf2+ (royal fork) I lose
Second try: I think…just take f5 first and then g3 “mateS the queen”:
1.Be4?? Rd1! 2.Qxd1 Nf2+ (royal fork again)
Finally I just go for the advantage with
1.g3 Qf5 2.Qxb4+ …
I almost fell in these traps…
Have a nice day
