Levon Aronian still 2nd in FIDE rankings with 2825 points
PanARMENIAN.Net – On May 1, FIDE published the list of strongest chess players of the world according to which Armenian grandmaster Levon Aronian maintains second place with 2825 points.
Magnus Carlsen (Norway) tops the list; followed by Russia’s Vladimir Kramnik with 2801 points.
Another Armenian chess player Sergei Movsesian dropped to 47th place with 2698 points on FIDE official rating list, Vladimir Akopian climbs 49th with 2697 points while Gabriel Sargissian is 71st with 2679 points. Armenia’s chess champion of 2012 Tigran L. Petrosian comes 94th with 2657 points.

The rating is wrong..makes no sense that both he and kramnik would gain rating points…I think Aronian is at 2823.2..which is still pretty damned good though. Kramnik probably gained a point or so from the match.
