Grandmaster Teimur Rajabov remains world’s number five chess player

FIDE has declared the ranking list of the world’s strongest chess players by results of April.

Teimur Rajabov remains fifth only after Norwegian Magnus Carlsen (2835), Armenian Levon Aronian (2825), Russian Vladimir Kramnik (2801) and world champion from India V. Anand (2791). Teimur’s coefficient equals 2784.

Vugar Gashimov is 17th (2737). Shahriyar Mamedyarov is 22nd (2726). Our rest chess players are beyond the top 100.

Azerbaijan is 10th with the indicator of 2634 in team ranking.
