Chess Daily News from Susan Polgar
Carlsen haven’t won any classical game against Leko yet. Maybe with White pieces.
Oh, thanks didnt know that! I think leko in top 3 anyway, wonderin what this kid gunna pull in about 2 years ! hehehe.
Rather than congratulating Leko on his ability to draw against Carslen he should be condemned!
Leko is an absolute disgrace to chess after looking at his demonstration of cowardice and lack of ideas today. A man of so many years experience comes to a tournament and plays an 18 year old and makes no effort to win, even though he has the White pieces. Maybe he needs to be given Pawn odds? That probably wouldn’t make a difference.
We all know its difficult to win at chess but when a guy comes and simply exchanges all the pieces its almost impossible to win.
I think he should simply be banned or not invited when he plays with this attitude. What garbage – and if you couldn’t tell I feel very strongly about this!
Poor display by Leko and poor choice by the organisers.
“Poor display by Leko and poor choice by the organisers.”
King Magnus was toying with him.
Leko is a lucky man.
Someone like Aronion is a much better choice and getting Topalov and Kramnik together in a tournament is always welcomed.
