From time to time, I feature a special chess related artist. I am sure you all know by now the famous cartoonist / artist Mike Magnan (http://thebuzzbeez.blogspot.com) who donated countless masterpieces to the Susan Polgar Foundation to promote chess for kids.
Today, I will introduce you to another very talented artist. His name is Justin Michael Jenkins. This is his bio http://www.imaginativepencil.com/artist.html. He specializes in the mediums of colored pencil, acrylic, and pencil. He works out of his studio in Morgantown, West Virginia, with his companion Candice and rabbit, Qtip. Here is a link to some of his fantastic chess pieces http://www.imaginativepencil.com/chess.html.
I like his work. What do you think?
Coooool! I like both Justin’s and Mike’s stuff! Coooool!
Love it!
Hey Morgantown, that is my hometown! Nice artwork, Justin should consider doing some nice graphics for the local chess club:
