The event is organized by the British Chess Federation. It took place from Sunday, August 6th to Saturday, August 19th at the University of Wales in Swansea.

Hello all. Well the stunning result of I.M. Grant really deserves some attention. Is it a GM norm for her. She finished ahead of some strong GMs. Kudos to you Ketevan.
Yes, she was considered at one time one of the biggest talents out of Georgia.

I think this is three in a row for Jonathan Rowson. He may not be the strongest player by rating in the UK but is a rare combination of a successful active player who also writes some very interesting books
