GM Jonathan Rowson has captured the 2006 Smith & Williamson British Chess Championships (93rd Championships of The British Isles)

The event is organized by the British Chess Federation. It took place from Sunday, August 6th to Saturday, August 19th at the University of Wales in Swansea.
