Bibasa disqualified from National Chess Championship

Former national chess champion Bob Gilbert Bibasa, has been disqualified from the national chess championship this afternoon at Hotel Africana.
Bibasa was expelled from the tournament in the tenth and final round after he being caught playing blitz chess during the final round while taking a break between his game against defending champion Harold Wanyama.
Uganda Chess Federation arbitor Stephen Kisuze, immediately disqualified Bibasa and told him to hand in his score sheet.
The Olympian had six and half points by the time he was expelled from the championship which is meant to determine the national chess player of the year and also see the winner of the ten round championship qualify for the world chess Olympiad in Turkey,next year.
Kawowo sports will give the final results when the tournament ends later today.

Who plays a game when you’re supposed to be playing a tournament game? How stupid can he be?
Clear lack of respect for his/her opponent.
He should not have been punished. I advise him to sue.
