maybe it’s:
1) h5, Ke6;
2) h6, Kf6;
3) f5, now the black King cannot move on the g column and has to allow the promotion.
Is it right?
Ciao
Luigi
White wins, the critical line being 1.h5 Ke6 2.h6 Kf6 3.f5! and black is in a curious zugzwang. Capturing the pesky f-pawn or retreating the king allows the h-pawn to promote whereas 3…a1=Q+ only defers the inevitable. Pretty impressive how tricky this apparently simple pawn endings can be…

Win for white
h5 Ke6
f5 Kf6
h6
White wins
White win
1.h5 Ke6. 2.h6 Kf6. 3.f5!
1.h5…Ke6
2.h6…Kf6
3.f5 wins
if 1…Kd4
2.h6…Kd3
3.h7…a1=Q+
4.KxQ…Kc2
5.h8=Q wins
Win for White:
1. h5 Ke6
2. h6 Kf6
3. f5
Now the Black king is shut out. There’s no way to stop the h-pawn.
100% lose 🙂
i would resign immediately as white.
White wins: 1.h5 Ke6 2.h6 Kf6 3.f5! and the h-pawn will promote. Another try for black would be 1.h5 Kd4 2.h6 Kd3 3.h7 a1=Q+ 4.Ka1: Kc2, but white is just in time with 5.h8=Q
1.h5 Ke6 2.h6 Kf6 3.f5!, and Black’s ticket to the h pawn is revoked. White promotes and wins.
a win…..i’m not that good but i reckon h5 ke6 h6 kf6 then just push the f pawn up and black cant do much except lose a and b pawns or go a queen down since g file is covered and he cant move anything else……

White wins:
1. h5 Ke6
2. h6 Kf6
3. f5!
Zugswang!
h5,h6,f5 zugzwang
Its a win for white
1. h5 Ke6
2. h6 Kf6
3. f5 zugzwang
the king is forced to move “outside the box” allowing the h pawn to advance to promotion.
h5 ke6
h6 kf6
f5 with zugzwang -> white wins
1 f4!
1.h5 Ke6 2.h6 Kf6 3.f5! zugzwang. Black would like to play 3…Kf7!, draw, but that’s illegal because of his f-pawn, so Black loses.
Interestingly, if black’s f pawn ws on f6 instead of f7 then black would win with a king walk to c2.
Thomas shows the line, but now 5. h8=Q doesnt work because the black pawn at f6 blocks the queen from the b2 square so now:
5. — b2+
6. Ka2 b1=Q+
7. Ka3 Qb3 mate
So, black pawn on f7 is win for white, black pawn on f6 is win for black
I think that the line posted by the 3rd anon brings to a win for black and not for white!
He posted:

but after 2) f5, black can simply move Kxf5 and then also the h pawn is lost.
Isn’t it?

I think this is the most interesting zugzwang I have seen. Very impressive!
1.h5 Ke6
2.h6 Kf6
3.f5
I will try to never forget this one. Keep posting problem like this.
Amazing, the key is the configuration of the pawns so that the king cannot pass, for instance for the black king at f6 to have the white pawns on f5 and h6:
1. h5 Ke6 2. h6 Kf6 3. f5 and because of zugzwang black loses, he will have to move the king so the pawn coronates.
F4 stop the king from getting the pawn on the h file before it get to queen
