Go Giants!
The Giants mishandled the chess clock just before the 2-minute warning. The could have let the clock run down to 2:00, had a break to think about their 3rd-and-18 play from the NE 39, and most importantly, left NE less time to work before the half. I’m posting just after the Giants’ punt—but if NE scores, this could be critical.
Now the Giants have run afoul of a “touch-move!” ruling: they didn’t get their 12th man off the field before snapping the ball, and NE got a gift first down.
The Giants didn’t get burnt before halftime, but almost did—I thought their timeout on 3rd-and-12 with 1:35 left was premature, too.
Someone needs to write a book for coaches titled “How Football Imitates Chess” :-).
I am stunned that the score is only 7-3 after 3 quarters! Go Giants!
Partiots must come back!
What is a Partiot?
Go Patriots! Go Kramnik! Go!
