I expected to see Anand’s name at the top of the April FIDE rating list. So did many other people. However, FIDE came out with the list today and Topalov remained at the #1 spot. It seems that Linares was not rated.

Jakovenko as expected joined the 2700 elite list. Sasikiran and Shirov exited that 2700 club. Here is the top list:
