Chess Daily News from Susan Polgar
There have been some quite interesting games in Kazan, especially in the last 2 rounds. The way Kosteniuk decimated Danielian in the 9th round in a Classical French Defense was not the only really good game of that round. Koneru‘s win over Lahno, playing the Black side of an English Opening, was impressive, and the mate at the end of that game was quite artistic. It’s a lot of fun to observe these Womens Grand Prix tournaments.
