Cindy Hsu came to the Polgar Chess Center (in Forest Hills, NY) this afternoon to do a story about the wonderful benefits of chess for young people. She was so wonderful with the kids. Her bright beautiful smile and upbeat demeanor made them feel so comfortable. This was especially helpful when none of them were on TV before and they were somewhat nervous.
It will be aired in the next two weeks on CBS TV in the Parent 2 Parent segment. I will keep you posted on the exact date and time. After that, it will be available on the web for everyone worldwide to see. This is great for chess. On behalf of the chess community, thank you Cindy and thank you CBS-TV!
This is so fantastic! As a mother, I think chess is great. Thank you Cindy!

Yes, Cindy Hsu is one of the best anchors in New York. I think she’s on early in the day. She’s been around a while.

I also think Cindy won a number of Emmy’s. I would definitely watch the coming up segment. This is exactly what chess needs.
Thanks to both ladies.

This is a perfect match: charms, wit and shining personalities of Susan and Cindy. One is an award-winning anchor, the other is the best chess ambassador we’ve ever had! This is the best thing for chess in America! We’re 45 million strong and we will get much bigger thanks to Cindy and Susan.
Best,
Jane A.
No one has done more to promote chess than Susan. She’s also the #1 advocate for scholastic chess especially for girls. She’s a true role model for kids worldwide. Perhaps the media will now take notice of what she has accomplished.
