Vladimik Kramninar in early days. I guess he was 16 years old…
Oh—it really is Kramnik. It seems I had a total mis-memory that it was a photo of IM Mark Ginsburg donning a black wig to impersonate Kramnik, back when he was part of “Chess Chow” Magazine. My memory goes back to this item on Mig’s blog, which I remember catching when just the first few comments were there.
Now a question strangely relevant to impersonation: was the attack comment #7 in that item by the real Jack Peters?
If this stuff is endemic, and people can’t undertake to implement and verify PGP signatures, we may have to resort to “roll-your-own PGP”: Generate 100 or so pairs of 150-or-so-digit prime numbers. Using a Java BigInteger applet, compute the products of the pairs and post those on a personal; webpage. Each time you make an important comment, reveal at the end one of the two factors of the next number on your list. The degree to which this is secure is the same as for similarly-configured PGP.
Kramnik? Really? I thought it was Jimmy Page circa 1971. 🙂
That looks like Kramnik’s mother or sister…

Obviously Kramnik. It took me 1 second to recognize him.

Looks a little like Canadian Lawrence Day, but it’s probably Kramnik.
