I think that is Salo Flohr, the short fellow standing in the front-center.
The player on the left is certainly Max Euwe.
What this photo needs is an exact date!

Euwe Alekhine…for sure. Anyone ever listen to the cbc Radio interview Alekhine gave way back then. Cool stuff. It’s the only voice recording of Alekhine I know of.
