I had a chance to visit Hawaii a while back to promote chess. I must say that it is one of the most beautiful places on the planet.

Chess Daily News from Susan Polgar
Aloha Susan,
Very nice picture! Russ Mollot (CXR President) must of mention Hawaii to you! Hawaii Chess Federation just had the Hawaii State Championship see http://hawaiichess.blogspot.com for additional details! Half the field were from the HCF /HICL scholastic group! So chess is alive and well in Hawaii! Hmm, when you do return to Hawaii arrive on Tuesday so you can visit Windward Chess Club in Kaneohe on Wednesday, we missed you last time you visited. Keep up the great work your doing, Mahalo, Paco
I love Hawaii! I hope to be able to come back in the future! You should be proud of Hawaii Chess.
Best wishes,
Susan Polgar

Aloha Paco! Are you in Honolulu?
George
Aloha George,
Actually I live in Kaneohe, on the windward side of the island due to the tradewinds coming from that directions. The Hawaii State tournament was in Honolulu by TD Larry Reifurth!
Mahalo,
