…In a challenge issued to all Steel Valley School District administrators and staff by the club, Superintendent William Kinavey and Park Elementary Principal Beth Tully were among those who answered the call Wednesday morning at Barrett.

The club’s challenge continues today and through Friday from 10:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the school’s library.

For those not familiar with chess, it is a strategic board game where the objective is to put the opponent’s king piece in checkmate, meaning that piece cannot move without getting eliminated.
