Chess Daily News from Susan Polgar
Caruana will pass Nakamura as the #1 American young player soon.
Caruanas latest game (3:rd round) was brilliant. He turned a hopeless position to victory a la Magnus!
well if I am not mistaking Caruana pratically denied being an American in one his latest interviews, so Nakamura will do well in kicking his rear end and use him as a ladder step next time they play against each other
Given the warmongering monkey president Bush, I can easily understand why Caruana denied being a Yankee. LOL!
I would like to point out that the incredibly talented IM-elect Ray Robson (13 years old) from Florida,USA, made a draw with GM Tiger Hillarp Person from Sweden after having drawn the World Junior Champion, GM Ahmed Adly in the previous round. He now has 2 out of 3 and will play GM Henrik Danielsen from Iceland later today.
PGN from round 1 is now on the site- now we just have to wait for the other rounds
