SCHEDULE

Friday September 10: Late registration 17:00 – 18:15 / Rd1 19:00
Saturday September 11: Rd2 10:00 / Rd3 16:00
Sunday September 12: Rd4 9:30 / Rd5 15:30

Players who register after 18:15 on Friday will be given a ½ point bye for Round 1.

RATE OF PLAY
Electronic clocks – 30 moves / 75 minutes, followed by rest of game / 40 minutes ; 30 seconds increment per move
Other clocks – 30 moves / 90 minutes, followed by rest of game / 60 minutes
REGISTRATION
Section A 65 $ / Section B 60 $ / Section C 55 $ / Section D 50 $ — advance registrations only.
You can register in advance (1) on line (click on the link at the top) until 18:00 September 9, (2) by mail before September 1, using the coupon below or (3) in person by cash until 18:00 September 9 at boutique Stratégie 3423 St-Denis (Montréal).
N.B. – Free for GMs – IMs – FMs (kindly advise championnatdemontreal@gmail.com) ;
– 30 $ for Québec masters and other players rated 2300 or more ;
– 10 $ rebate for players unrated or aged below 20 on September 10, 2010
– 15 $ more for late registration at the door on Friday (not applicable to women, Québec masters and players rated 2300 or more) ; registrations at the door are accepted in cash only ;
– Only one rebate per person ;
– FQE membership required. Tournament passports (15 $) and full membership cards available on line and on site.
