The ad is a little deceptive. It’s a $100,000 prize fund – but based on 650 entries! At the moment, the web site shows only 69 advance entries. So it seems clear that, per USCF rules, the prize fund will really be the 50% minimum.
Goichberg advertises the same way. So does the national open. So do others. Nothing deceptive about it. Stop being a Brian Lafferty. Why don’t you focus on the positive that there is a big money event which benefits many players?
