The Armed Forces Officers Club, in Co-Operation with Abu Dhabi Chess & Culture Club, is organizing the annual Abu Dhabi Chess Festival 2010 from 12 till 20th August 2010, to be held at the Armed Forces Officers Club in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
The Festival consists of four separate tournaments, all played over nine rounds according to Swiss system:
– Master Tournament for players with rating higher than 2200 (prize fund 15,900 USD)
– Open Tournament for players rated under 2200 (prize fund 3,100 USD)
– Ladies Tournament Open for women chess players (prize fund 2,600 USD)
– Junior Tournament Open for players under 14 years (prize fund 1,700 USD)
