This is one of the chess tables in downtown Denver
Today, the match ups are quite interesting:
Topalov – Anand 0-1 (Anand soundly defeated Topalov with Black. That’s 2/2 with Black pieces!!)
Kamsky – Bacrot (Kamsky is a Pawn up in a Rook and Pawn endgame but most Rook and Pawn endgames are drawn)
Svidler – Ponomariov 1-0 (Svidler crushed Ponomariov)
What is your prediction?
I think Kamsky has an excellent chance against Bacrot. Anand’s job is to hold on with Black. So does Ponomariov against Svidler.
Chess Daily News from Susan Polgar
I go with your prediction, Susan. Nothing wrong with it.
Anand will not only hold, he will beat Topalov convincingly. I have 500 bucks riding on that 😉
