Girl student makes miniature chess board, seeks Guinnes entry
Vijayawada, Feb 27 (UNI)

A third-year microbiology student of Loyola College here N Geetika today created a miniature chess board of 64 squares in a tiny space of 0.25 cm and staked the claim for an entry in the Guinness Book of world records.

Talking to newspersons here Geetika said her aim was to create a world record in miniature drawings and once the feat was recognised, she would try to make a tinier chessboard in a space of 0.2 cm.

This would be possible only with the help of a microscope.

The girl’s father said Geetika was also a painter and she won as many as 50 prizes for her paintings.
