The Organizing Committee of the 2016 World Schools Championship (December 2-12, Grand Hotel Zhemchuzhina, Sochi, Russia) extends the deadline for submitting registration forms to October 20.
All the participants shall complete the registration form which can be downloaded from the RCF website. After it is filled in, it should be sent by the National Federations or the players to the Organizing Committee not later than Sunday, October 20 of 2016 via email juniorchess@ruchess.ru.
The form must also include full name and contacts of the Chess Federation representative.
World School Chess Championships 2016 for school chess champions in categories Open U7, U9, U11, U13, U15, U17 and Girls U7, U9, U11, U13, U15, U17 will be held from December 2 (arrival) to December 12 (departure) in Grand Hotel Zhemchuzhina, Sochi, Russia.
World School Chess Championships 2016 are organized by the World Chess Federation (FIDE), the Russian Chess Federation (RCF), and the International School Chess Union (ISCU).
Entitled to participate are players (Boys & Girls) who are under the age:
Of 7, by 1st January 2016 (date of birth – January 1st, 2009 and after) – Tournament Under 7;
Of 9, by 1st January 2016 (January 1st, 2007 and after) – Tournament Under 9;
Of 11, by 1st January 2016 (January 1st, 2005 and after) – Tournament Under 11;
Of 13, by 1st January 2016 (January 1st, 2003 and after) – Tournament Under 13;
Of 15, by 1st January 2016 (January 1st, 2001 and after) – Tournament Under 15;
Of 17, by 1st January 2016 (January 1st, 1999 and after) – Tournament Under 17.
