Deysi did it!!!! YES!!!!!
Oh Yes, Thank You to Padimi Rout for getting the crucial win In the last game to help Deysi get the win.
“Smiles Broadly”
Yes! Cori won on last match.
Congrats Deysi!
…And the champion of the world is Peruvian WGM Deysi Cori (18). Hoooray!!!
I was fairly depressed after Cori lost the lead by half a point, with only one game left. But Gyria’s lost to Indian WGM Padmini Rout today, the one Cori had drawn yesterday, while Cori won her last game. Such a final.
Is Deysi Cori’s second crown and I have a strong guess that won’t be the last one. Well done and congrats!!
Thnak you Susan for a wonderful coverage.
