Sparkling Diamond Watch for the Top Lady

The MonRoi International Women’s Grand-Prix Finale runs July 22nd to July 29th. The Finale is taking place in the heart of Montreal , at the Hilton Doubletree. Seven months of qualifiers in Grand-Prix host countries (Germany, USA, Italy, France, Liechtenstein, Croatia and Gibraltar) have culminated in the finale – featuring international stars GM Pia Cramling (Swe), IM Irina Krush (USA), WGM Ketavan Arakhamia-Grant (Geo), WGM Lela Javakhishvili (Geo), WGM Jovanka Houska (Eng), WGM Iweta Rajlich (Pol), WGM Cristina Adela Foisor (Rom), and Myriam Roy (Can).

In addition to the $15 000 prize fund, Galazzo Jewellers will award to the winner a watch embellished with 16 sparkling diamonds. The finalist’s hotel and flights are courtesy of the organizers. The Grand-Prix was made possible due to outstanding support of the European Chess Union, the Quebec Chess Federation, and Chess’n Math. Susan Polgar and the Associations of Chess Professionals endorsed the program. The finalists had a tourist guide showing them one of a kind world metropolis. The city of Montreal is world renowned for its cosmopolitan style.
