Chess Daily News from Susan Polgar
Which sister is better?
Susan theres no difference between men and women in chess, except that we have been playing longer in competitions, anyway i woke up this morning thinking about MIchael Bolton the singer, wondering how hes doin, i was born this way Susan , sometimes it feels like a curse, Dunno, Peace.
Our US women could never compete at this level.
Lionel, do you know that to be true, or is that what you want to be true? Underlying many statements about equality or supposed equality of chess ability is the assumption that chess ability really matters, perhaps even that a person’s worth as a human being is somehow connected to it. Say that women are not as good at chess as men, whatever that means. Does that matter? Who cares? Intergroup and intragroup human variation exists. Some people are better at some things than others, and that is OK.
Martha was born in the US and Susan Polgar, Krush & Zatonskih would hold their own in this international competition.
Oh, Chuck sorry for being so late (BPT), just misssed my Wilkos Show zzzzz.Thank you for such a great blog. As best as i can say , is that i saw one of my teachers on tv yesterday, John Wooden, I actually studied his Pyramid system in the Buffalo Public Library, so I’m merely observing the process for me to begin to realize how i got like this, thats why UM tellin lil magasparov he in the wrong country IN REAL LIFE.
Martha is at the bottom of the pack. No change from her other play. Polgar doesn’t play anymore. Krush? Hahahahahahhaha. have you been looking at her pathetic results as of late? I might give you Zatonskih because she takes her chess seriously unlike Krush. a whole year of Samford fellowship with NOTHING to show for it!
