Holy Family to host chess tournament

Holy Family School will host a Wisconsin Scholastic Chess Federation tournament Saturday, Jan. 17.
Three divisions are offered: K-3, K-6 and K-8. Federation membership is not required. The fee is $15. Advance registration is $10 at www.wisconsinscholasticchess.org if completed before midnight tonight.
Check-in runs from 8 to 8:45 a.m. The first round will start around 9:30 a.m.
Trophies will be awarded to the top three teams and top five individuals. All participants receive medals. An awards ceremony will start around 4 p.m.
