  I think Gata Kamsky wins, but I know for sure that I would not have participated.
  Only 4 games. A professional is prepared (perhaps months) and could only play one game with white. Absurd.

  I read in comments that someone was bored and it would be more fun a blitz matches.
  The Zeitnot as a metaphor of chess exciting entertainment.
  Who does not love the game of chess will continue to not look at chess and those who love them will be frustrated by errors.

  For chess (and for two other things) it takes time to do them well. :-))

  I went with Kamsky and Kramnik. Of course, I was 1 for 4 in the previous vote having predicted victories for Topalov, Aronian, and Mamedyrov. This is why I don’t bet on sports.

  A truly disastrous outcome in the quarterfinals – Kramnik through and his main opposition (Aronian, Topalov) eliminated. There is nothing to stop Kramnik now.

  So the probable challenger for the World Championship IS DECIDED ON THE BASIS OF A FAULTY CLOCK.
  Still, by now, we are used to such absurdities under Ilyumzhinov’s reign.

  Note that each match pits a G (Gelfand, Grischuk) against a K (Kamsky, Kramnik). Of course Kamsky, like Kasparov before him, has both (G.K.). I don’t claim this has any predictive significance, of course.

  i’m guessing thats Kramnik on the left and Kamsky on the right in that wonderful image….and they are playing right in Anand’s library.
