I suppose, these are not the benefits of playing chess..rather, the prerequisite for being a good chess player (from humanistic point of view as well)…have you ever thought that chess might have an adverse impact on an intelligent and kind human being? I have a positive attitude towards chess as an interesting sport..just posing a query as some food for thought 🙂 …

I have actually seen the way chess helps children over a period of time.It helps them face the many problems in life by using tools of chess thinking without being aware of it.
