FIDE-World-Online-Women-Blitz-Championship-2015-21

The prestigious FIDE World Online Women Blitz Championship 2015 continued on Thursday with the third qualifier tournament being played on the officialFIDE Online platform.

The 20-years old WGM Enkhtuul Altan-Ulzii from Mongolia won the event with 8,5/11 points, leaving the nearest followers a full point behind.

On the shared second place are WIM Pratyusha Bodda, IM Padmini Rout (both India), IM Nino Batsiashvili (Georgia) and WIM Qianyun Gong (Singapore) with 7,5 points each.

Also qualified for the semifinal are WIM Diana Real (Mexico), WIM Melissa Castrillón Gómez and WIM Jenny Chirivi (both Colombia). Full standings below.

The first stage of the Championship will be completed over eight (8) qualifier tournaments, followed by a semifinal with 64 players, and a final tournament with 10 players.

A rich prize fund of 9000 USD will be awarded in the final tournament.

Registrations for the FIDE event are continuously open. The players can compete from the comfort of their home, without costs associated with the hotels and airfares.

Eight (8) players advance from each qualifier tournament to the semifinal.

The competition will take place on the official FIDE Arena Online platform. FIDE Online uses AceGuard, anti-cheating and security software of new generation. Based on advanced behavioral analysis and the activities of the players, AceGuard indicates deviations from proper procedures of play.
