Impressive.
Susan, is’t a pity to write this comment, but please prepare yourself to provide commentary during WC. You know everything only about Webster students, but nothing about ramaining chess players. Your partner is much more professional than you and ready to discuss any player in details. You aren’t. Sorry for that, but this is not local Webster event, but chess world cup and so incompentent person shouldn’t be hired. Hope it’s a first day issue and further will go bether.
Ms.Susan, do not waste time on this patzer. You’re definitely right, this is ur blog and not wc site. Be proud of your webster players and keep us updated about them. You’re doing a great job as a coach.
Prepare? I put in 16-18 hour day every single day in Tromso so far and I have been here way before any player even arrived to prepare. This is my personal blog and they are my students. This is not the official World Cup website. All info about the World Cup is on the official site and the organizer has a team of people to do this. Next time you want to criticize, be courageous enough to publish your name.
Susan does a fine job covering all major chess events. She doesn’t always cover the big Open tournaments in the USA but that might be for the USCF website to keep track of. Keep up all the good work Susan.
