Either win or draw for Kramnik. His opening seems very solid.
It should be interesting if Fritz plays 1.e4.
I hope Kramnik wins: but I can’t help thinking that this match would have much greater appeal if it was a 4 “player” match – say Fritz v Kramnik and Rybka v Anand (for example) with a final between the 2 match winners
I predict Kramnik will draw Al Gore.
Kramnik will draw this game-tomorrow and win the next one with white pieces !
Montrealer
its going to be very difficult for the human player to win.
In order to do that he must accumulate advantage bit by bit until its enough to convert to something substantial like material or inevitable mate.
Fritz is never going to blunder & give a free point like Kramnik.
My prediction for the rest of the games…
ALL DRAWS !!
I’m always hoping that Kramnik will make up for his blunder – so win for kramnik 🙂
Win for Fritz, no doubt about it,
because all chickens will eventually
be slaughtered at the chessboard.
Go Fritz, go!
Kramnik will not win. He is too weak/chicken to convert the considerable advantages he gets out of the opening.
These opening advantages he only obtains because of the unfair conditions he has imposed for the match regarding Fritz’s opening book.
That said, the Fritz team certainly needs to improve their choice of openings.
Fritz takes him down 1-0!
I don’t care about this match anymore…
Hope the machine wins the match, it deserves it!
I don’t care and will not watch it. It is more interesting to watch matches between different chess programs. They are more fair and true to game.
Kramnik will win.
Since kramnik is drawing with white and blundering with black, I predict either a draw or 1-0 for Fritz, even with all of the unprecedented match conditions Kramnik has.

You know what? Topalov still lost, and still disgraced himself, and no amount of crying is going to change that fact. Inventing bogus charges is what got him in trouble in the first place. Don’t you think a new strategy is in order?
Everyone knows that you, anon, is that mad raver who finds conspiracy against Kramnik in all blogs here.
Well, be content at least 2-3 months until the rematch in which Topalov will return his chess crown which Kramnik stole in his internet-furnished toilet.
